About Zach Boyd
For the first decade of my career, I worked with some amazing CPA’s. I had the opportunity to develop my skills in a top 20 accounting firm surrounded by many talented people. It was here that I learned the value of a personalized approach. However, it was challenging to be measured by billable hours and unrealistic metrics. There was no time to sit with my clients and listen to their stories, which unlocks many financial, tax, and business planning opportunities. Yet I still found myself building relationships with my clients, and providing more comprehensive financial guidance. I realized I wanted to be a CPA who builds long-term partnerships and helps people achieve better financial outcomes and not be burdened by corporate oversight.
So I founded Boyd CPA with those goals in mind. Through the people-centered approach that defines our firm, I’m freed up to be with my clients, sharing stories and offering trustworthy tax, business, and financial guidance with their big-picture vision in mind. This is why I do what I do.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active outdoors through hiking, hunting, traveling, camping, running, and playing sports. I also cherish quality time with my wife, our two kids, and our three dogs!
